Father's Days Gift Ideas for 2014
We are halfway through the year already and one of the most significant events happening this month would be Father's Day! To celebrate the occasion, one would often buy a tie or a wallet alongside a cake for the man of the house. With KENYSL.com being a technology blog, of course, I won't be recommending the usual clothing accessories, instead, I will be recommending some awesome technology related gadgets that dad will probably find useful.
1. Logitech Z443 Multimedia Speaker System + Bluetooth Audio Adapter
2. i-Rocks K10 Keyboard
Does dad's job involve a lot of typing or data entry? Time to get him something that will definitely up his typing game. The i-Rocks K10 is in my opinion, one of the best keyboards in its class and price range. Almost mimicking what a mechanical keyboard feels like perfectly, the K10 really brings a whole other experience to the table compared to your off-brand OEM keyboard. If you would like to learn more about the K10, do check out my full review HERE. The K10 is priced at MYR 169.00
3. USB OTG Adapter
A USB OTG adapter is certainly useful in any sort of situation. Dad's phone has no storage left? Get one of this alongside a normal USB drive and he's set. Being able to enjoy high quality media using a smartphone without having to worry about storage problems would certainly make dad's life even better than before. For USB OTG cables/adapters, I have no exact brand to recommend, but anything above MYR 10.00 should work well.
Well, I'm out of ideas already. Some honourable mentions would be things like a wireless drive like the Seagate Wireless Plus, or even a SSD if your dad has a PC system and you would like him to experience blazing fast boot-up speeds. If you have a dad games on PC a lot, you can also consider a Xbox One controller too with the recent release of its drivers. All in all, appreciating your dad isn't just shown in one day of the year nor is it all about what gifts you get him, all that matters is that you keep a good relationship with your dad, after all, you wouldn't be where you are today without him.
